Dr. Ruby Mendenhall
Dr. Ruby Mendenhall is the Kathryn Lee Baynes Dallenbach Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she also serves as Associate Dean for Diversity and Democratization of Health Innovation at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. A scholar whose work spans computational social science, AI ethics, Black women's health, and housing policy, Dr. Mendenhall brings both intellectual rigor and deep community commitment to Ancestral Math.
